What cargMT is
cargMT displays unverified, crowdsourced observations about public EV charging stations in Malta. It is not affiliated with charging operators or Maltese authorities. A cargMT report does not automatically notify the operator — if a charger is faulty, please also report it to the operator directly.
No affiliation
cargMT is an independent, community-run project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Charge My Ride, Transport Malta, REWS, Enemalta, or any charging network operator. Operator names and contact details shown in the app are presented for identification and customer-support convenience only.
Accuracy
Station status, availability, and issue reports are submitted by the community and reflect individual observations at a point in time. They may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Always verify charger availability through the operator's own app or signage before relying on it.
Data sources & attribution
Station data is sourced, in order of preference, from: Open Charge Map data (used under its applicable licence and attribution terms); official open datasets or public registers from Maltese authorities and regulators; direct operator information; manually verified locations from multiple public sources; and community-submitted suggestions reviewed by an administrator. Map tiles are provided by OpenFreeMap / OpenStreetMap contributors. cargMT is not a copy of, and does not claim to reproduce, any single third-party dataset such as Charge My Ride or Google Maps.
Acceptable use
Reports and station suggestions must reflect genuine, good-faith observations. Submitting false, abusive, or spam reports may result in your account being restricted. Moderators may hide or remove content that violates these terms.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use of cargMT after a change means you accept the updated terms.
